Parking at The Woodford Hotel
Street Parking — the quickest option
Free street parking is available directly in front of the hotel on Main Street. The Woodford Hotel holds a guest permit for front-of-building street parking, so pulling up out front is the fastest way in. If you are wondering where to park downtown Versailles for your stay, the spaces directly in front of the hotel are your first choice.
Rear Parking
The Woodford Hotel owns a large private lot directly behind the building, reached from Tanner Alley. The lot is currently being repaved and is not yet marked, so guests are welcome to park anywhere in it.
- Get onto Tanner Alley from North Locust Street — turn in via E Green Street if you are coming from the north, or Lexington Street if you are coming from the south.
- Follow Tanner Alley to the rear of the hotel. The Woodford Hotel parking lot is immediately behind the building and marked with our signage.
- Park anywhere in the lot — it is large and currently unmarked while we finish repaving.
- Walk through the courtyard to the front door.
- Enter your door code at the entrance. Your code is included with your booking confirmation — check your booking-platform messages, email, or text. If you cannot find it, contact us and we will get you in.
Driving Directions
The Woodford Hotel is easy to reach from Lexington, Blue Grass Airport, and the I-64 corridor. Driving times below are approximate; the map above provides exact turn-by-turn directions to our door.
From Blue Grass Airport (LEX)
Blue Grass Airport sits right on US-60 (Versailles Road). Head west on US-60 toward Versailles — about 8 minutes to downtown and The Woodford Hotel.
From I-64
Take Exit 58 (US-60 / Versailles Road) and follow US-60 toward downtown Versailles. From there, Main Street puts you at the hotel.
From Lexington
Follow US-60 West (Versailles Road), or take I-64 West to Exit 58 — about 20 minutes from downtown Lexington.
From Keeneland
Keeneland Race Course is on US-60 (Versailles Road). Head west toward Versailles — about 10 minutes to the hotel.

The Woodford Hotel’s downtown address keeps you within an easy walk of Versailles’ shops, restaurants, and bourbon bars. The area’s bourbon distilleries, including Woodford Reserve, are a short drive rather than a walk.
